Farmhouse Family Veterinary Hospital is among the most
unique of all the vets, veterinarians, vet hospitals, vet practices, vet clinics, and animal hospitals one may choose from
in these modern times.
Located in the
Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater area of Washington State’s Thurston County, Farmhouse Family Veterinary Hospital was once
a working farm.
In 1994, the property was purchased by Dr. Michael Widener and converted to
a full service clinic for dogs, cats, and
a variety of exotic pets and birds of all kinds
including ducks, chickens and geese.
In addition to dogs, cats and birds,
we treat small mammal pocket pets including ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, mice, gerbils, chinchillas, pot
belly pigs and sugar gliders. We are the only local clinic that spays, neuters, and treats Pot Bellied Pigs.
Soon we will add reptile, turtle and aquatic animal medicine to our list of services. We also treat a limited
number of wild animal species including rabbits, raccoons, and opossums per Washington State law.
